School Tours

Wednesday, May 20

The Garden hosts an exciting day of tours and activities exclusively for homeschool groups and families.

Saturday, May 30
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Visit the Garden for a day celebrating rare plants and animals. Come nose-to-nose with exceptional creatures and learn about conservation efforts happening throughout Georgia. 

June - July
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Enroll your child in a stimulating day camp full of discovery, exploration and imagination.

Terrariums are perfect mini gardens for your own home. Make a tiny wonderland filled with with a magical stone, a mythical creature, and an extraordinary plant!

Wednesdays, April - October

Listen to stories about bees, butterflies, frogs and flowers!

Drop-In Family Class

11 a.m. - noon

Buzz into the world of these amazing creatures and learn about life in the hive. Understand the importance of bees as pollinators and producers of honey and wax. Dress up like a bee and create your own beeswax candle.

Hidden treasure awaits youngsters in the Garden! A search for something golden or sparkly begins in the Levy Parterre.

Fridays, March - September
10:30 a.m.

Join a sensory exploration of the Garden! Parents and caregivers of young children are invited for this short interactive walking tour.

Saturdays, May - September

Enjoy a variety of live performances from some of Atlanta’s best storytellers and musicians in the Children’s Garden.
