Introduction Drawing

Drawing in Black and White

Drawing is the foundation of visual arts, and anyone can learn its basic principles. Discover composition, proportion, shading and perspective as well as visual elements: line, value, texture, shape, and space. Students work in a variety of black and white mediums. This class is part of the Botanical Drawing Program.

Bring a collection of landscape photos (black and white or color) to the first class for drawing exercises. A supply list is emailed with the confirmation. The prerequisite for this class is Intro to Drawing.
