"Earth Day Stories" with Mama Koku

Mama Koku tells tales that show us how precious our home planet is. Animals, Plants, Water and Air are all the main characters! With Mama Koku, there is always an opportunity to be a part of the story with lots of audience participation. If you love the earth, you’ll love the way Mama Koku brings these stories to life!

"Magical Garden Stories by Queen Emeralda" with Kay Rosenblum

Enchanting stories full of appreciation for plants and animals. The fanciful folktales and magic will appeal to youngsters in this magical performance.

"A Musical Tour through Latin America" with Havana Son

Rene and Llilian lead a whirlwind tour through Latin America. Their musical itinerary includes stops in Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, and Puerto Rico. Children will have the opportunity to sample each country’s unique rhythms and sounds.

"Summer Magic" with Ken Scott

Come and be a part of Ken Scott’s Comedy Magic show for all ages (even adults will enjoy the show)! Ken is a three time winner of the Atlanta Magician of the year award. He includes tons of audience participation, Snowball the bunny, music, and eye popping magic tricks that will make your head spin in wonder.

"Around the World In Stories" with Mama Koku

This series of tales takes the audience from Africa, to Europe, to Asia, The Islands and The Americas, Everybody and every culture has a story to tell.

" Franny Fable Tells a Tale" with Holly Stevens

Animal characters come alive in this fun-filled retelling of three classic children’s stories, celebrate three different kinds of friendship. When “friends help friends”, anything is possible - even when the going gets tough. The audience is part of the show in this participatory program.

"Billy Goats Gruff and Other Stuff" with David Stephens

In this one-man performance utilizing hand, rod, and glove puppets, Stephens retells classic fairy tales as well as telling a few of his own original tales. You'll see what happens when three billy goats try to cross over a bridge belonging to a greedy troll in The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Parker Pig encounters some good luck when he stumbles over a watering can in a retelling of The Three Little Pigs. One of Stephens' original stories, The Two Farmers, involves Farmer Frick and Farmer Frack and how they learn to work together to make a pot of stew.

"Go Wild" with Tommy Johns

Tommy and his puppet friends will be taking your kids on a wild and imaginary tour of their backyards, neighborhoods, and community parks. Through puppetry, magic and storytelling, Tommy and his furry and feathered (puppet) friends will teach young readers about how to use the Scientific Process to answer questions about their own environment. It looks like a science show, but it is all about getting kids excited about READING!

"Music InterACTION" with Michael Levine

Children and families will sing, dance, shake, laugh, wiggle & learn together as Mr. Michael gets silly with his guitar! On stage he shares his music & storytelling inspiration with children as they sing interactive songs & Pete the Cat stories together.

"The Princess and the Frog" with Curious Moon Puppets

A princess, a frog, a magic fishing hole, a prince, and a whole lot of sneezing - all the ingredients for a hilarious take on The Frog Prince are here in this original puppet show.

"Music from Plants" with Scott Douglas

An interactive program that features natural plant produced instruments. Get ready to hear shakers, scrapers, and nature sounds such as rain sticks, bird calls, and frog croakers. Come enjoy the sounds of the rainforest.

"Mr. Greg's Musical Madness" with Mr. Greg

Greg Roth, aka "Mr. Greg" from Mr. Greg's Musical Madness, delights audiences throughout the country with his joyous, interactive, fun-filled, and educational family-friendly performances. Featured on PBS, themes of his shows and live performances include: Treating People with Kindness; Environmental Awareness; Physical Fitness; and much more! Suggested requirements: Bring your sense of humor and your "jumping shoes"!

"Mrs. Twiggy Winkle tells Frog Tails" with Kay Rosenblum

Tails? Ooops! We mean Frog Tales. Everyone knows frogs don’t have tails, or do they? Or did they? No worries, Mrs. Twiggy Winkle will explain everything when she comes to the garden. Also appearing with Mrs. Twiggy Winkle will be her friends Mr. Old Sock, the Bunnies who live in the Magic Bunny Box, and the Dancing Frog.

"Rosie and the Butterfly" with Cathy Kaemmerlen

This show is inspired by the parallel lives of Rosalynn Carter, former first lady, and Rosie, the monarch butterfly. With the use of puppets, costumes, and narrative, the early life of Rosalynn Smith Carter and the monarch butterflies come to life in this animated, lively, narrative show. Follow the life cycle of a monarch and learn something about Georgia’s former first lady as their lives intertwine. Learn about the Rosalynn Carter Butterfly Trail that begins in her hometown of Plains, GA and extends to Washington, D.C. Remember: all journeys end in the same place—Home.

"Scatty the Scarecrow" with Betty Ann Wylie

Soon the Garden will once again be bursting with scarecrows of all shapes, sizes and descriptions. Scatty can hardly wait! In her stories and songs you’ll encounter not only scarecrows but also possums, bears, foxes and a “Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything.”
