Concerts Know Before You Go

Here is everything to know about attending Concerts in the Garden.

Atlanta Location

SHOW TIMES
Friday concerts start at 8 p.m. and gates open at 7 p.m.
Sunday concerts start at 7 p.m. and gates open at 6 p.m.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Outside food, beverages and coolers are NOT permitted. Empty water bottles are permissible and refillable at the Garden's water stations. Beer, wine, soft drinks, bottled water and a limited food menu are available for purchase. Meals may be pre-ordered from Longleaf restaurant up to 72 hours in advance of the concert. Click here to place Atlanta Pre-Order Meals. Please note Longleaf will not be open for dinner on concert nights. Quick Cafe and the Snack Bar will be open, however.

WEATHER
All shows are rain or shine. Umbrellas are permitted at user's own risk. Every effort is made to continue with the show during rain. No refunds are issued in the event that extreme weather causes a cancellation. Check the Garden's homepage for up to the minute information on the night of a performance.

PARKING
$10 parking ($5 for 4 or more people per vehicle) is available onsite in the SAGE Parking Facility on a first-come, first-serve basis. Multi-Visit SAGE Parking Passes are valid on concert nights. Consider alternative means of transportation.`

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is located adjacent to Piedmont Park at 1345 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta, GA, 30309.

SEATING
All tickets are general admission on the Great Lawn in Atlanta.For your own safety, firearms are not allowed in the Garden so please allow time for entering because all bags will be checked thoroughly by security. Blankets are welcome. For the enjoyment of all, lawn chairs must have low backs (below the neck) and legs shorter than 10 inches (a basketball can't roll under). Lawn chair restrictions will be strictly enforced. The Great Lawn is wheelchair accessible.

WILL CALL
Tickets purchased online may be picked up at Will Call. Will Call is located at Garden Admissions. For Friday shows will call is available 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday shows will call is available 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Be ready with a photo ID, the card used to purchase the tickets, and the order number.

CHILDREN & PETS
Children ages two or younger receive free admission. All others require a ticket. Please use your best judgment when bringing a child to a concert; sound levels may be too much for tiny ears and consider the experience for those around you. The only pets allowed on Garden grounds are special-assist animals.

SMOKING
The Garden is a nicotine-free environment. Cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, cigars, chewable tobacco and similar products are not allowed on Garden property including all grounds, buildings, restrooms, and parking areas.

PHOTOGRAPHY
At the request of the artists, photography is not allowed during any concert at the Garden. Please leave your camera at home. The Garden is not responsible for any stored or confiscated photo equipment.

Gainesville Location

SHOW TIMES
Shows start at 8 p.m. and gates open at 5:30 p.m., 5 p.m. for Platinum Ticket holders.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
Outside food, beverages and coolers are NOT permitted in the Garden or on the shuttles. Bottled water is permitted on shuttles. Beer, wine, soft drinks, and bottled water are available for purchase at the Garden. Only pre-ordered meals available from Talk of the Town Catering. Limited snacks available on site. Meals must be ordered by 5 p.m. on the Thursday before the concert.

PARKING & SHUTTLES
No parking on site (limited cars with valid handicap stickers are allowed). All parking is off-site at Lakeview Academy (796 Lakeview Dr, Gainesville, GA 30501). Shuttles begin departing at 5:30 p.m. for General Admission ticket holders and 5 p.m. for Platinum Ticket holders. Other than a bottle of water, food and beverage are not permitted on the shuttles.

SEATING
All seating is general admission at the Ivester Amphitheater in Gainesville. For your own safety, firearms are not allowed in the Garden so please allow time for entering because all bags will be checked thoroughly by security. Blankets are welcome. For the enjoyment of all, lawn chairs must have low backs (below the neck) and legs shorter than 10 inches (a basketball can't roll under). Low-rise chairs are available for purchase on site. Lawn chair restrictions will be strictly enforced, and those with taller chairs will be asked to move to a designated area. The Ivester Amphitheater is wheelchair accessible.
