Alston Lecture: Preserving Italy
Domenica Marchetti will share her exploration of the many preserving traditions and techniques that Italian cooks rely on to conserve fresh produce and specialty foods. Italian cookbook author Domenica Marchetti will discuss the research for her most recent book, "Preserving Italy," and the food artisans she met along the way. Domenica graduated from the Columbia School of Journalism and worked at several newspapers before becoming an enthusiastic food writer and cookbook author of seven titles focused on the delightful cuisine of Italy.
