Enjoy a variety of live performances by some of Atlanta’s most beloved children’s musicians and storytellers in this engaging series. Shows take place Fridays, May through September at 10 and 10:45 a.m.
Join us in the Garden for Anansi and the Colorful Kente Cloth, a musical, interactive family show performed by local author, storyteller and percussionist, Jerry G. White. This program brings to life the debut Children’s book, Anansi and the Colorful Kente Cloth, written by Jerry G. White and illustrated by Courtney Strickland. You will get reintroduced to the number one West African trickster Anansi the Spider and meet his friends, Efie the Elephant and Tuako the Tortoise.
Free with Garden Membership or Admission; no show reservations are required. However, we recommend reserving your timed Admission tickets at least 15 minutes prior to show times, as the performance area is a short walk from the Garden entrance.
