Botanical Saint Nick

Meet Botanical Saint Nick, clad in his dark green robe and botanical head wreath. Bring a camera to take your own photos with Saint Nick, and while you wait, enjoy fun holiday-themed activities. Free with Garden admission.

Ride-on Train

All aboard The Botanical Express! The popular children’s Ride-on Train is set to depart for a trip around the Great Lawn every Saturday and Sunday, beginning November 17.

Model Trains

Open during daytime hours (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and during Garden Lights, Holiday Nights (5 p.m. – 11 p.m.), G scale choo-choo trains and a holiday trolley chug along seven tracks on this whimsical, beautifully landscaped mountain layout.

Winter Break Camp

Jan. 2 – 4, 2019: Campers will discover winter’s botanical beauties and learn about winter wildlife. Enjoy three fun-filled days of exploration, activities and artwork. For children ages 6 – 8. Fee: $199 (Member $174) Registration Deadline: December 14

Listen to stories about bees, butterflies, frogs, flowers, and other garden friends. Storybook Time is for children accompanied by an adult. Free with Garden Admission. No registration required. Meet in the Children’s Garden Amphitheater.

Homeschool Day

May 15, 2019: The Garden hosts an exciting day of tours and activities exclusively for homeschool groups and families. $10 per student; $10 per chaperone (max 2 per student). Pre-registration is not required
