Give to the Garden
Why is your charitable contribution important?
Memberships cover less than one-third of the Garden's annual expenses. Each charitable gift directly supports the Garden's mission, allowing children and adults to explore the wonders of the natural world through dynamic educational programs and funding critical conservation efforts to protect plants and amphibians.
Your gift truly has the power to help us grow!
Nourish & Flourish Capital Campaign
Visitors to Atlanta’s urban oasis have watched in amazement over the past several years as new gardens blossomed and facilities were improved through the ongoing $50 million capital campaign Nourish & Flourish.
“The plan is an organic continuation of the energy, creativity and success of the previous New Seasons capital campaign and positions the Garden to continue blossoming for years to come,” said Mary Pat Matheson, the Anna and Hays Mershon President & CEO of the Garden.
Tribute and Memorial Gifts
A tribute gift in honor or memory of your special person is a distinctive way to:
- Celebrate weddings, anniversaries, retirements or birthdays
- Commemorate the birth of a child or grandchild
- Remember a friend or loved one
The Garden welcomes contributions in any amount. Gifts are fully eligible for a charitable income tax deduction and directly support the Garden’s operations, plant collections, educational programs and conservation work. Your gift will be recognized with a special card sent to the honoree or your designated recipient. The gift amount is confidential.
Welcoming over 500,000 visitors a year, the Atlanta Botanical Garden is one of the nation’s Top 10 botanical gardens. Partnering with the Garden provides corporate partners and sponsors with exclusive benefits and privileges, while helping to achieve marketing objectives and demonstrate corporate citizenship.
Planned giving enables individuals to make charitable gifts now or after their lifetime. Unlike cash gifts, planned gifts are typically made from a donor’s estate and come to fruition upon the donor’s death. Not just for the wealthy, planned giving empowers people of modest means to make a difference.
