Every Thursday evening through Sept. 11, the Garden's popular after-hours event blooms with new activities in celebration of Alice's Wonderland and Enchanted Trees by Poetic Kinetics.

We're All Mad Here!

Thursdays through Sept. 11, 5 – 9 p.m., purchase specialty cocktails, treasure hunt for Cheshire Cat, enjoy live music, discovery stations, lawn games and more while exploring Alice’s Wonderland and Enchanted Trees by Poetic Kinetics, dramatically lighted at night.

Please note: Activities may be canceled in the event or rain or inclement weather. Cancelations will be announced on our website and social media by 2 p.m. on the day of the event. The Garden and its parking facility are card-only. No cash is accepted.

A Wonderland of Fun

Start with a tipsy photo op, purchase a specialty themed cocktail and begin the Wonderland Scavenger Hunt. Solve the riddle, then turn in your completed hunt to the Gift Shop for 20% off your purchase and a chance to win a drawing for a Garden Lights prize package!

Learn about the Garden’s most iconic mosaiculture sculpture at the Earth Goddess Discovery Station and play games on the Great Lawn.

Browse the Artist Market in Cox Courtyard and take pics with a real-life Alice in front of the Chess Set. 6 – 7 p.m. and 7:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Experience the Garden in the evening, when the cooler temperatures of twilight cast the Garden’s thousands of beautiful flowers in a whole different light.

Dining in Wonderland

Dine at Longleaf, the Garden’s indoor/outdoor full-service restaurant during Cocktails in Wonderland. Reservations are strongly recommended.

For lighter, grab-and-go fare, Longleaf’s Quick Café will also be open. The Garden Snack Bar’s permanent location in the Perennial Garden is closed for renovations through Summer 2025. In the meantime, enjoy grab-and-go options from its temporary location near the Great Lawn.
