What are timed tickets? Does it mean I only have 30 minutes in the Garden?

Garden Lights tickets (with the exception of Premium+ Tickets) are only valid AFTER the purchased time slot. For example, if your tickets are for 7 p.m., they cannot be scanned until 7 p.m.

Guests are kindly asked to arrive within 15 minutes of the scheduled ticket time, though accommodations will be made for guests who arrive after the scheduled window.

Once you arrive, you may explore the Garden for as long as you’d like, which usually takes 1.5 – 2 hours. Dress appropriately for this outdoor walking experience.

Timed tickets ensure the best experience for all guests.

Can I purchase tickets on site?

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights sells out frequently. Purchase in advance online, by phone or in-person to ensure you get your preferred night and time. There are no processing fees to purchase online or by phone.

Where do I park? How much does parking cost?

Parking in the SAGE Parking facility is $10 per vehicle.

The Garden’s on-site parking deck is shared with Piedmont Park, so parking will be extremely limited on most nights. If the deck is temporarily full when you arrive, return 10-15 minutes later, as the facility fills and empties in waves. Alternate means of transportation, including rideshare apps, taxis and MARTA are strongly encouraged when possible.

Multi-Visit SAGE Parking Passes are not accepted. The Garden no longer offers a carpool discount.

Oversized vehicles, buses and limos are not permitted to park on-site.

What if it rains or snows?

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights is rain or shine. No rain checks are given for inclement weather.

Purchase Flex Tix to change the date of your visit in the event of rain.

I didn't buy Flex Tix. Can I change my date?

General Admission and Premium tickets are date- and time-specific. If you did not purchase Flex Tix, you may contact our ticket office to change your tickets to a new day or time. There is a $10 per ticket rebooking fee for each change.

Does my membership include tickets to Garden Lights?

No. All members must purchase tickets to Garden Lights. Garden members save $5 on every Garden Lights ticket.

At the beginning of every Garden Lights exhibition, members enjoy an exclusive, one-night-only preview when tickets are offered at the lowest price of the season.

Guest passes and reciprocal benefits are not accepted for this special event.

Do you offer wheelchairs or electric scooters?

Yes. Wheelchairs and electric mobility scooters are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may not be reserved.

Wheelchairs are complimentary and may be requested as your tickets are scanned in the Hardin Visitor Center. Quantities are limited.

Scooters are $25+tax and must be purchased by credit card at Garden Admissions. Scooters may not be rented in inclement weather. Quantities are limited.

A photo I.D. must be left with our Guest Experience team while wheelchairs or scooters are rented.

I'm bringing a big group to Garden Lights. Does the Garden offer group discounts? Can we park our oversized vehicle there?

No. The Garden does not offer group discounts on tickets to Garden Lights, Holiday Nights. There is no onsite parking for oversized vehicles, which include buses, large vans and limos.

Other Garden Policies

No weapons of any kind.
No smoking or vaping of any kind.

For all guests’ safety, wagons are not permitted during this exhibition. Strollers are welcome.

Dining at Garden Lights

Longleaf Restaurant
5 – 10 p.m. Last seating at 9:45 p.m.
Enjoy table service in the dining room each night.

Guests are encouraged to make reservations via OpenTable to dine at Longleaf during Garden Lights, Holiday Nights. A timed admission ticket is required to enter the Atlanta Botanical Garden in advance of your dining reservation time. Walk-in seating is extremely limited, and on many nights, may be unavailable.

Tables may only be reserved for parties of eight or fewer. Groups of 16 or more guests must reserve via the Garden’s Special Events team. Parties of larger than eight that attempt to make multiple reservations with the hopes of sitting together will be split up and subject to the pace of the restaurant during this high-traffic event.

Here are the steps to take to ensure your visit and reservation:

  1. Purchase your Garden Lights, Holiday Nights tickets, making note of your date and arrival time.
  2. Book your dinner reservation for any available time AFTER your Garden admission time.
  3. Arrive to the Garden at your ticketed time, then head to Longleaf at the time of your reservation, earlier if possible.

Reservations are held for 15 minutes before they are released. Please plan accordingly for potentially extreme parking delays at the Garden entrance during this popular event. Guests who do not claim their reservation within the 15 minute grace period will be moved to a waitlist, or be allowed to secure a new reservation, pending availability.

The host team will call guests to confirm their reservation and the time of their admission within 48 hours of the reservation date.
