This state of the art open-air kitchen is home to a variety of tasty programs featuring fresh herbs and vegetables straight from the Edible Garden, including weekend cooking demonstrations May - October, and the chef-driven spring/summer dinner series Well-Seasoned Chef and Fresh Plates.
The Edible Garden provides fresh vegetables and herbs for the Garden’s restaurant, Longleaf, and any harvested food not used in educational programs is donated to local charities, such as the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
