Join emcees Victoria Stilwell, star of Animal Planet’s hit TV series It’s Me or the Dog and Vincent Martinez, Fashionado and Founder of Doggies on the Catwalk, for the once-a-year fun of dogs in the Garden! Dress your pooch in holiday finery to compete for prizes with celebrity judges or to just show off. Enjoy photos with Botanical Saint Nick and connect with local canine enthusiasts and businesses in the Doggie Expo. The first 100 registered dogs to check-in will receive a special treat! Don’t have a dog? Come enjoy the show!
Pre-registration for the parade is now closed. You can still bring your dog to enjoy the show this Saturday for $18 per dog.
2019 reindog parade rules & guidelines
Dogs participate in the parade and compete in the following categories:
Holiday-themed canine costumes are encouraged, but not mandatory.
Best Botanical:
Dogs dressed up in a plant themed costume, such as a flower, Christmas tree, poinsettia, mistletoe, etc.
Best Puppy:
Dogs under 12 months
Best Adult:
Dogs older than 12 months
Best Dog Pack:
Two or more dogs walking across the stage together
Best Dog Owner Dress-A-Like:
Dog and owner dressed similarly
Just Showing Off:
Parading, but not competing
Or just bring your dog to enjoy the show! (Not parading or competing.)
Dogs can pre-register to “Enjoy the Show” – come enjoy a day in the Garden with your favorite four-legged friend

2019 Reindog Parade Prizes:
• First-place winners in each category will get four passes to Garden Lights, Holiday Nights!
• Second-place winners in each category will receive four guest passes for General Admission (valid for any daytime visit) to the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
• Third-place winners in each category will receive two guest passes for General Admission (valid for any daytime visit) to the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
Regular Garden Admission applies to humans. Admission is $15 per dog in advance and $18 per dog on the day of the event. Please note that walk-ups cannot compete for prizes or participate in the parade.
