Ruby Slippers is a dwarf Hydrangea that grows up to 4 feet tall and 5 feet wide. This Hydrangea has flowers that grow to a 9-inch-long white panicle that ripens to pink and then to a ruby red throughout summer. The deeply lobed, oak-like foliage is dark green and turns dark red in the fall. Ruby Slippers is a deciduous shrub that is used best for hedges, borders, specimen and accent pieces. The exfoliating branches are great for winter interest, as it provides color and texture.
