Green Man

Symbolizing the union of humanity with the plant kingdom, the “Green Man” represents Father Nature in the role of a Protector, a defender or guardian. This image can be traced back to the Pre-Christian era in Roman and Celtic folklore.

The beloved Green Man welcomed visitors to the original Children’s Garden. When the Children’s Garden was redesigned in 2014-2016, the designers moved the iconic sculpture to the playful splash pad.
