This course explores basic, essential aspects of orchid growing at home and the use of a variety of different home environments to support a diverse array of these unique plants. Growing spaces ranging from window sills to modified wine coolers will be covered, with attention given to lighting, environmental conditions, and routine care in each space. Orchid varieties suitable for culture in these home environments will be highlighted along the way.
