October 3 - October 29: (closed Mondays, except Indigenous Peoples' Day, Oct. 9): Enjoy kooky, creative scarecrows handcrafted by businesses, individuals, schools and organizations, scattered throughout the Gainesville Garden.
About the Exhibition
Now in its sixth year, Scarecrows in the Gainesville Garden stuffs the woodlands with creations by local artists, crafters, youth groups and more. This popular exhibition will be returning Oct. 3 with the theme, Día de los Muertos!
Cast your vote for your favorite scarecrow this year. The winner will receive a gift basket with a selection of items from the gift shop. To vote for your favorite scarecrow, take note of the scarecrow number during your visit, then scan the QR code in the Ivester Visitor Center to vote.

Garden members enjoy unlimited daytime entry for a full calendar year at the Atlanta and Gainesville Gardens. That includes open access during regular hours to Scarecrows in the Garden, and free admission to several seasonal events, like Goblins in the Garden and Cocktails in the Gainesville Garden.
