The Garden has been propagating Georgia Aster (Symphyotrichum georgianum) for more than eight years. The Conservation & Research Department has collected seed and plant material for species viability testing, genetic analyses and cryogenic storage. Additionally, the team aims to propagate and outplant plant material as needed and able for restoration.
