Mary Harriel
Since joining the Garden in 2021, Vice President of Human Resources Mary Harriel has grown the department’s staff, technology, systems and processes to better serve the Garden’s more than 350 full- and part-time employees in Atlanta, Gainesville, Ga. and Florida. Harriel has been instrumental in building a culture centered in the Garden’s values of conservation, excellence, inspiration, integrity and respect. A native of Ohio, Harriel served for 15 years with the Ohio Board of Regents, where she was Chief Operating Officer, and has held senior human resources leadership positions at Lurin Capital, The Art Institute of Atlanta and Invitation Homes.
