Enjoy Summer Party
Bring your family and friends to celebrate at Summer Party and see the Garden Aglow! Enjoy the warm light of a long summer evening with live music and great food, and join in a magical lantern parade through Storza Woods. Don’t miss the Garden Glowing in the most beautiful and unique way!
- As night falls, large puppet lanterns from Chantelle Rytter and the Krewe of the Grateful Gluttons emerge from the shadows of Atlanta’s old-growth trees in Storza Woods. Guests create a glowing river of light with their own intricately designed and created paper lanterns through the woods. Surprises await!
- Paper lanterns will be available for guests to decorate and embellish to light up the parade.
- Bring the kids and enjoy the Children’s Garden, where cold treats will be available and watch the children enjoy a mesmerizing, imaginary Bird Feeding with the giant woodstork puppets. Everyone can add a splash of color with whimsical face painting by Pixie and Luna.
- Kick off the warmest season with favorite summer sweet and savory indulgences, provided by:
- Simply Done Donuts – little donuts, big flavor!
- Southern Crust Pizza Truck – a cute, classic 1953 Chevy truck outfitted with a wood-fired Valoriani oven offering fresh Neopolitan-style pizza, salads and warm S’mores!
- Vanilla Crepes – sweet and savory crepes
- Travelin Tom’s Coffee Truck – whether you are feeling hot, cold, calm or in need of a kickstart – Travelin Tom’s got a cup for you!
- Kona Ice will be serving up tropical-flavored Italian Ice, and additional cool treats are coming soon!
Longleaf Restaurant, the Garden’s full-service restaurant, will be offering limited seatings and an elevated seasonal menu. Event tickets are required to dine at Longleaf this evening.

Chairs, pets, tobacco/vape products/smoking of all kinds, outside food/drinks are not permitted in the Garden. Food and beverages offered for purchase while supplies last. Tickets are non-refundable. No rain checks. Only guests 21 and older may purchase alcohol, ID required. Last entrance is at 9:00 p.m. Bars close at 9:30 p.m.
