Katherine Johnson

Katherine is a Conservation Horticulturist with the Conservation & Research team. Her background is in Arboriculture, having been an ISA Certified Arborist for five years before joining ABG. She has experience as a lab technician and a greenhouse manager for a floral design company based in Atlanta. Katherine graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. Born and raised in Roswell, GA, Katherine enjoys hiking, crafting, horseback riding, gardening, creating pottery, caring for her houseplants, and spending time with her dogs. Her favorite thing about working with the Conservation & Research Team is having direct hands-on opportunities to work with endangered plant species and raising rare plants to return to their natural ecosystems. She is proud of being able to provide major help to her local ecosystems and doing her part to help mend depleted environments.
