Marcella DiBrino

Gulf Coast Field Technician

Marcella recently joined the Atlanta Botanical Garden as a Gulf Coast Field Technician, where she’s helping out with rare plant monitoring and seed collections. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology and Environmental Studies from Eckerd College, where she also completed a few internships that deepened her interest in the unique ecosystems of the Southeastern US and the plants that make up those ecosystems. Marcella plans to pursue a master’s degree in the coming years, but is currently focused on gaining additional field experience to further refine her research interests.
