Sarah Norris, M.Sc
Sarah is the Conservation Partnerships Coordinator for the Southeastern Plant Conservation Alliance (SE PCA) within Atlanta Botanical Garden’s Southeastern Center for Conservation. She uses her background in academic and research program coordination to bring together partners from around the Southeastern U.S. to support imperiled plants. Sarah was born and raised in Atlanta and lived in the Bahamas and Florida from 2012-2022 before returning to Atlanta in 2022. She received her B.S. in Animal Science from Berry College and her M.S. in Environmental Science from Florida Gulf Coast University where she published research on mercury in blacktip sharks (Carcharhinus limbatus). In her spare time, Sarah enjoys hiking with her husband and daughter, baking, reading, and fostering kittens.
