Shows at 10:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. in the Children’s Garden Amphitheatre.
The dynamic duo, Rene and Llilian of Havana Son, lead a whirlwind musical tour through Latin America. Their itinerary includes stops in Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, and Puerto Rico. Children will have the opportunity to sample each country’s unique rhythms and sounds. The whole family will be up and dancing along!
Activity Stations – Drop in between 10 a.m. and noon
- Musical Instruments – Try out various instruments made from plants from around the world.
- Earth-Friendly Art – Celebrate the beauty of birds with us in the Trustees Garden where we’ll create our own bird feeders to take home, then swing by our bird discovery station where we’ll explore the different shapes of bird beaks.
- Seed Planting – Plant some spring seeds to take home.
- Georgia Wildlife Scavenger Hunt – Investigate the fascinating world of animals living in Georgia as you search for hidden critters in the Children’s Garden. Pick up a hunt sheet at the entrance to its location.
- Playdough Fun – Combine natural items with delightfully scented playdough at our playdough tables.
- “Worm Wishes” – Gently explore worms up close, while also thinking about ways to take care of the Earth.
