Join us with family and friends in the Gainesville Garden this Indigenous Peoples’ Day for special Monday hours from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Celebrate the bounty of fall with Scarecrows in the Gainesville Garden and enjoy the final days of Alex Heveri’s: Glass in Flight exhibition, featuring 15 glass and steel sculptures of gigantic insects created by Heveri. The sculptures are Dalle de Verre, French for “glass slab,” a technique that utilizes thick, 1-inch slabs of glass in large pieces to create the sculptures. Included with Gainesville Garden admission.
