Phalaenopsis (Moth Orchids) and Paphiopedilum (Tropical Asian Ladyslippers) are two common orchid groups whose care requirements often parallel tropical houseplants, making them amenable to many casual enthusiasts. This course will explore how to successfully grow and re-bloom these orchids and their hybrids in typical home environments and include troubleshooting tips for novice growers. Participants will also practice repotting and go home with an orchid.
