Friends in the Garden with Maria Rossoto
Shows at 10 and 11 a.m.
Sing and groove along to Maria’s original songs about the wonders of gardens. Her music style spans the globe, and her engaging approach will have budding musicians shaking and wiggling to the rhythms of jazz, polka, Latin, funk and more as the whole family celebrates life in the garden.
July 4 Favorite Food on the Great Lawn
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. (while supplies last)
Grab a hot dog and chips for $6 and a snow cone for $3 in one of the Garden’s largest open spaces.
Live Music on the Great Lawn
12:30 – 4:30 p.m.
Enjoy some soulful, uplifting music by the Donna Hopkins Band and Ralph Roddenbery in three sets throughout the afternoon.
The Snack Bar will be open 9 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. with a special patriotic cocktail and snacks.
Bars open in the Hardin Visitor Center at 11 a.m. and in the Skyline Garden at 4 p.m.
Longleaf serves sit-down and takeaway meals throughout the day, including BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, peach cobbler and more. Skip the line by pre-ordering selections from the Quick Café, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
