Now in its sixth year, Scarecrows in the Gainesville Garden stuffs the woodlands with creations by local artists, crafters, youth groups and more. This popular exhibition will return on October 3 with the theme, Día de Muertos!
Cast your vote for your favorite scarecrow this year! The winner will receive a gift basket with a selection of items from the gift shop.
Registration: August 14 – September 25
Scarecrows Drop-off: September 28 – 30, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Exhibition Dates: October 3 – October 29 (closed Mondays, except Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Oct. 9)
Gainesville Scarecrow pick up: Tuesday, October 31 – Wednesday, November 1, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
