By preserving and studying this extraordinary place, we can unlock the secrets of our own origins.
Hector’s current research lines are surrounding microbial ecology and bioprospecting of endemic actinobacteria from Cuatro Ciénegas valley with applications in industry, agriculture and pharmaceuticals. He also works in development of biotechnological products in the agricultural and pharmaceutical industry.
