Activity Stations
Drop in between 10 a.m. and noon.
Join us as we explore the rich variety of life on Earth, from soothing bird songs to buzzing bees, to the seeds that produce a vibrant palette of color every spring in Georgia, and more!
- Botanical Bliss – Plant marigold and watermelon seeds to take home and start your own garden!
- What’s the Weather? – Explore the wonder of weather as we create our own rain sticks to take home, and interact with instruments made from plants at our “Musical Instruments from Around the World” station.
- Spring Birds – Investigate the fascinating world of animals living at the Garden. Have you ever noticed the different shapes of bird beaks? How might the shape determine what food they can eat? We’ll find out together in the Children’s Garden!
- Pollinator Friends – Dig your hands into our “bees in a hive” sensory bins and explore our “Pollinator Dress-Up” station!
We may cancel or move indoors if rain, cold temperatures or inclement weather make outdoor programming impractical. To check the status, email classes@atlantabg.org.
