Cox Courtyard

Cox Courtyard outside Gardenhouse (or adjacent to Longleaf Quick Café) is an inviting, lush, tranquil spot. The centerpiece is Three Graces Fountain, a beautifully handcrafted fountain designed by Spencer Tunnell and fabricated by Andrew Crawford. The fountain symbolizes the three graces: brilliance, joy and bloom and is made out of copper.

Hardy Windmill Palms, Trachycarpus fortunei, surround the Courtyard and espaliered loquats cover the walls. The area is vibrantly colored with a plethora of seasonal annuals and perennials and is highlighted by Shaggy Dog, acquired as part of the 2013 Imaginary Worlds exhibition.
