Hardin Visitor Center

The Garden's admissions facility includes the Garden Gift Shop and Turner Broadcasting System Garden Theater as well as conference rooms – both available for private rentals – and several administrative offices. Three green roofs cover one-half of the center, absorbing rainfall and providing sound and thermal insulation. The facility, designed by Jova/Daniels/Busby, was awarded Gold LEED certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for its sustainable design and construction.

Guests often stop to study the ever-fascinating Nepenthes Chandelier, a work by glass artist Dale Chihuly inspired by the Garden's renowned collection of carnivorous pitcher plants.

Be sure to stop by the Turner Theater for a six-minute welcome video that introduces the Garden's many display areas and events.
