Presented by Origami in the Garden artists Jennifer and Kevin Box, and origami artists Robert J. Lang, Te Jui Fu, Michael G. LaFosse, and Beth Johnson.

Creating an origami object is difficult enough – now dream of it becoming the most archival object it can be by collaborating with a team to make a museum-quality metal sculpture. How do Jennifer and Kevin Box work with the origami artists, and what is the process of casting and fabricating the creations from paper to metal? What messages do they hope will remain for thousands of years, speaking to future generations?

A book signing will follow the lecture.

The Philip and Elkin Alston Lecture Series is made possible by the generous support of the Charles Loridans Foundation.

When: Tuesday, September 6, 7 p.m.
