This annual event will provide enjoyment for the entire family. Speak with insect experts while enjoying live music, refreshments and children’s entertainment, including face painting, games and performances.
- Walk-and-Talk with Wild & Wonderful artist Alfred Glover | Meet at 10:30 a.m. in the Woodland Promenade. Capacity is limited to 20 guests, first-come, first-served.
- Piccadilly Puppets | 11 a.m. | Join us in the Children’s Garden for a fun, family-friendly performance to get you moving and grooving.
- Patrick the Magician | 12:30 p.m. | Patrick the Magician is a high-energy performer with a passion for making people laugh, wonder, and smile. He combines his love for magic into a 1-hour, one-of-a-kind show that’s as impressive as it is hilarious. Fun for ages 0 to 100! The show begins at 12:30 p.m. in the Glade garden. Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket as seating will be limited.
- City Sheep and Goat Meet-and-Greet | All day in the Ivester Amphitheater | Meet the sheep from City Sheep and Goat who’ll graze throughout summer to help the Gainesville Garden with invasive plant management. Prescribed grazing is an eco-friendly way to reclaim land overrun by invasive plants, including English ivy, kudzu, and Chinese privet, without herbicides or heavy equipment.

- Discover the World of Pollinators: Engage with beekeepers and insect experts while exploring the mesmerizing world of pollination. Educational tables include the UGA Insect Zoo, Plant Doctor, Northeast Georgia History Center and the Garden’s conservation and research team.
- Fan Favorite: Vote for your favorite handmade creation to be put on display in the Garden in our Birdhouse Competition.
- Delicious Eats: Indulge in delicious food options from a local food truck. Plus, sip on beverages, including exclusive Garden Beer crafted in collaboration with Atlanta’s Wild Heaven Beer.
- Creative Fun: Let your imagination soar with face painting and exciting children’s entertainment activities.
- Rare hydrangea sale: Purchase an exclusive hydrangea from the Gainesville Garden to take home! Plant it in your own garden, and watch it flourish.
- Mini-Market: Elevate your summer style with selections from local vendors.
- Live music: JB Jams will bring the beats for a summer day filled with music.
