Join the Garden on February 28 for a new twist on its annual Vanilla Sunday. This year’s event will be offered virtually, and guests will learn all about the fruit that flavors drinks, desserts and sauces in so many recipes – only without the popular ice cream sundae they’ve grown accustomed to sampling.
One of the world’s best-known flavors, vanilla comes from the seedpods of an orchid. The pods are about eight inches long and green when harvested.
