Members receive unlimited free admission to the Garden for two adults and up to eight children under 18 during regular, daytime hours for an entire year - plus four guest passes!

What are the benefits of membership?

What is my Member Number?

Use the following link to find your current Member Number. The email associated with your membership should be your employer email address for Grady Health, MARTA, Atlanta Public Schools, or City of Atlanta that you used to register. Please note, each time a membership card is printed, whether you are renewing or requesting a replacement membership card, the system will assign you a new number. You will enter that number in the Member Validation box to receive member discounts online and to renew your membership.

How do I get my membership card?

On your next visit, please present your photo ID at Garden Admissions and ask the staff to print your new card(s) and/or guest passes for you. If you have lost your card you may get it reprinted at Admissions as well.

Does an Explore Family membership include my college-age children?

Free admission on the Explore Family membership includes two adults and children/grandchildren ages 3-17. Please use a guest pass for your children over the age of 17. This includes children who live at home and are away at school.

At what age can my children or grandchildren visit the Garden unaccompanied by an adult?

Children/grandchildren must be 16 years old to enter the Garden unaccompanied by an adult.

Does the member need to be present when using guest passes?

Guests may come on their own using member guest passes. Please note that the name and address portion of the pass must be completed before it will be accepted.

How do I find out about Member events?

Right here! Details of Member Events are also listed in Clippings, the Garden’s quarterly newsletter, and on member event postcards mailed periodically throughout the year. You may also receive event notifications through the email associated with your membership.

At what times are guest passes valid?

Guest passes may be used anytime during daytime Garden hours. Daytime hours include Cocktails in the Garden and Fest-of-Ale (Atlanta) and Wine in the Woodlands (Gainesville). Member event listing will specify whether guest passes are accepted.

Are my guest passes valid for Garden Lights, Holiday Nights?

Guest passes are not accepted for Garden Lights, Holiday Nights because it is a special event outside of the Garden’s daytime hours. Members may purchase tickets at the member discounted price of $5 off of each ticket.

May I use my guest passes at a Member Preview?

Because a Member Preview is an exclusive member event, guest passes are not accepted. For all membership levels, two adults and any children/grandchildren under 18 are allowed to attend Member Previews. Non-members are welcome to purchase a membership for entry to Member Previews.

May I use my guest passes at Member Evenings?

Yes, guest passes are accepted for Member Evenings at this time. Non-members are also welcome to purchase a membership at Admissions for entry to Member Evenings.

May I visit other gardens with my Atlanta Botanical Garden membership?

Yes! The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a member of the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Admission Program. Your Garden membership offers benefits at more than 300 gardens, arboreta and conservatories in North America and the Cayman Islands. For a list of participating venues, please visit To redeem your benefits, present your valid membership card to that garden. Please note that the 90-mile exclusion rule stipulates that gardens within 90 miles of each other will not offer reciprocal benefits.

Do I receive discounts at Garden Centers or other businesses as an Atlanta Botanical Garden member?

Yes, the local Garden centers and businesses who give current Atlanta Botanical Garden members a discount throughout the year are listed below. Please show a valid membership card to receive your discount.

10% discount: Dorough Landscape Company, GardenHood, Habersham Gardens Intown Garden Center, Hastings Nature and Garden Center, Just Add Water Rare Plant Nursery, Pike Nurseries, Randy’s Perennials and Watergardens, Inc.

Members receive a special 20% discount at Dorough Landscape Company’s Floral Nursery!
