About the Exhibition
Comprised of 10 colorful tree sculptures ranging in height from 9½ feet to more than 17 feet tall, Enchanted Trees by Poetic Kinetics seamlessly blends the harmony of nature with the captivating allure of kinetic motion.
From a distance, the sculptures are a beautiful sight to behold, moving gracefully in the wind, their colorful foliage casting dappled light and shifting hues across their surroundings. When approached, the trees become an interactive experience, allowing visitors to pose and play in the kaleidoscopic light and shadows.
The sculptures will remain throughout the fall and winter as a new feature in Garden Lights, Holiday Nights, open through Jan. 11, 2026.
The exhibit marks the third time the Garden has presented work by Poetic Kinetics. In 2021, SUPERnatural: Aerial Art in Motion featured “Dream Flora,” a custom-crafted, rainbow-hued “Skynet” that billowed in the wind above the Canopy Walk. Another of the studio’s Skynets, “Skyline Frost,” has been part of Garden Lights since 2023.

Cocktails in Wonderland
Every Thursday through Sept. 11, 5 – 9 p.m., purchase specialty cocktails and enjoy live music while exploring the exhibitions dramatically lighted at night.
