About Chef Julian Parker

Executive Chef Julian Parker’s culinary journey is rooted in his Colombian heritage and shaped by a lifelong passion for food. Growing up in Colombia, Parker developed a deep appreciation for the bold, vibrant flavors of Latin America. His mother, a professional chef and caterer, was his first culinary influence. He later studied European culinary techniques and flavors in culinary school and continued his exploration of global cuisine during a culinary journey through Argentina. His passion for Asian cuisine further informs his approach, resulting in a menu that draws inspiration from cultures and traditions around the world. Together, the food and beverage programs are designed to create a memorable experience that celebrates the Garden’s natural beauty and its mission to foster the display, education, conservation, research and enjoyment of plants. Whether joining us for a special occasion or simply enjoying a meal surrounded by the Garden, guests are invited to savor a dining experience that is as thoughtful and diverse as the landscape around them.
