About Shaun Doty

Shaun Doty is a chef with over three decades of experience in both fine and casual dining. His culinary journey has taken him from Michelin-starred restaurants to beloved neighborhood bistros. With a focus on sustainable, ingredient-driven cuisine, Shaun is dedicated to sourcing the best seasonal ingredients and employing both classic and modern cooking techniques to create memorable dining experiences.

Shaun co-created Bantam + Biddy and founded Yeah! Burger, bringing his creative takes on local ingredients to a wider audience. His reputation continued to ascend in the Peach State with The Federal, which earned the esteemed title of a James Beard semi-finalist nominee for Best New Restaurant. 

In addition to his roles at Bantam & Biddy and Yeah Burger, he serves as a consulting chef at Jules at Barnsley Resort and also offers exclusive private dining experiences for prominent families in the Atlanta, Georgia and Palm Beaches, Florida. Each menu is tailored to the client’s preferences, using fresh, local ingredients to create unforgettable meals.

Beyond the plate, Doty enjoys passing on his culinary knowledge to the next generation, mirroring the mentorship he received early in his career. When not working, he spends his time with his wife and dogs, enjoying the beach and exploring new restaurants.
