Reconnect with where your food comes from and experience Atlanta’s local food movement at the 10th annual Soil Festival hosted by Food Well Alliance and WABE! The Garden’s own Moe Hemmings and Brandon Brones will be featured speakers for the event.

Soil Festival is an annual spring tradition connecting people with where their food comes from and celebrating soil as the key source for building a strong local food system. In 2025, we’re creating a fun, family-friendly event where attendees of all ages can gather to experience an urban farm. Attendees will enjoy delicious food from local vendors, connect with local food leaders, and explore the importance of healthy soil. The event features cooking demos, kids’ activities, and hands-on workshops on composting, beekeeping, and gardening. Plus, don’t miss the growers’ panel, farmers market, plant sale, beer garden, and a free compost giveaway!
