About Chef Jason Stern

Executive Chef Jason Stern is a French and Italian-trained culinary leader whose career has been shaped by classical training and mentorship under some of Atlanta’s most respected chefs. A graduate of the Art Institute of Atlanta, he has spent years building a reputation for excellence, earning recognition from both national and regional publications, including USA Today, Jezebel, Country Living, Thrillist, Eater, Zagat, Georgia Eats, and BuckHaven Magazine.
His work has contributed to numerous accolades, including USA Today’s “Nation’s Best Brewpub,” OpenTable’s “Top Restaurants for Meatball Lovers,” first place at the Atlanta Meatball Fest, top finishes at Killer Tomato Fest, multiple “Best of Atlanta” honors, and recognition among the “100 Hottest Restaurants” and Thrillist’s Top 10 pizza spots. Most recently, his leadership helped Bobby Jones Golf Course earn the NGCOA Jemsek National Course of the Year for 2025.
Chef Jason has held prominent leadership roles throughout the region, including Executive Chef of Colletta in Alpharetta, Executive Chef & Partner at From the Earth Brewery in Roswell, and Executive Sous Chef at Il Giallo in Atlanta, before taking the helm at Bobby Jones Golf Course in 2021.
His culinary philosophy is rooted in craftsmanship, curiosity, and a deep respect for both tradition and innovation.
Beyond the kitchen, he is a devoted father of three and an avid fan of science and astronomy, interests that reflect the creativity, precision, and sense of wonder he brings to his work every day.
