Enjoy a fun evening dining, sipping, and learning from Chef Thomas Davis of The Betty, St. Julep and Willow Bar in the Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen.

Born and raised in Dahlonega, Georgia, Thomas Davis, Executive Chef at The Betty, St. Julep, and Willow Bar, has 16 years of culinary experience specializing in a broad range of cuisines and techniques. In addition to designing and planning menus with an emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients, he has always been hyper-focused on providing the best possible experience for his guests.

After graduating from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Construction Management in 2006, Davis’ started his career in industrial & commercial construction, before he was ready for a career change and made the leap to the hospitality and fine dining industries. He graduated from The Culinary Institute at Chattahoochee Technical College in 2008.

Following graduation, he worked at acclaimed restaurants around Atlanta, including Chef de Cuisine at 5 Seasons Brewing Company, Executive Chef at Bocado Burger, Chef de Cuisine at King + Duke, and Executive Chef at Golden Eagle. In December 2021, he joined the team at The Betty as Chef de Cuisine and was promoted to Executive Chef of The Betty, St. Julep, and Willow Bar in September 2022. In this role, he manages the culinary team and spearheads the day-to-day operations and food menus for all three concepts. Throughout his culinary career, Davis has learned from some of the very best chefs in the industry and hopes to pass along that knowledge and wisdom to help train, inspire, and support the next generation of chefs.

When he’s not in the kitchen, Davis spends his time caring for his two rescue pit bulls, hiking, gardening, raising chickens, and traveling all with his girlfriend, Danielle.
