Join Chance in this demonstration-based class as she debunks internet canning myths and teaches safe methods for water-bath canning. Learn about proper techniques, trusted recipes and discuss the best vegetables and fruits for pickles, preserves, jams and jellies as you watch Chance demonstrate live. Participants enjoy a sampling of home-canned treats along with cheese and crackers to make their own charcuterie grazing plates. Go home with plenty of inspiration. This class is ideal for anyone interested in food science, homesteading or food preservation. (This class will not cover pressure canning or canning low-acid vegetables or meat.)
