Interact with 2026 Georgia Grown Chef Laura Orellana-Martin, Boone’s and a Georgia pork producer as you enjoy four tasting courses with wine in the Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen.

The Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen fosters plant-to-plate connections, provides learning opportunities in seasonal eating and sustainable cultivation, and highlights the important relationships between local chefs and growers. In keeping with this, we proudly present the Georgia Grown Dinner Series.

As a unique collaboration with the Georgia Department of Agriculture, each dinner in the series is presented by a Georgia Grown Chef and focuses on one or two of Georgia’s important crops or agricultural categories. As an added bonus, each dinner features a local farmer who can explain a little more about farming in Georgia and answer your questions. Interact with the chef-grower team as you enjoy four tasting courses with wine in the Edible Garden Outdoor Kitchen.

About Laura Orellana-Martin

Executive Chef, Laura Orellana-Martin, was born and raised in El Salvador, where she enjoyed her earliest culinary memories. By age 17, she knew she would embrace cooking as a profession.

In 2004, she moved to Seville, Spain, to study at one of the best culinary schools, Escuela de Hostelería de Sevilla and lived and worked in Spain for five years. In her earliest professional experience, she learned from the amazing team at El Cingle in Barcelona, a MICHELIN-starred restaurant.

Laura then moved to Atlanta in 2009 to work with the esteemed Buckhead Life Group. Laura joined R.O Hospitality, first at Table & Main in 2012 as a Line Cook, before opening Osteria Mattone as the Sous Chef in 2013 and serving in that capacity for eight years. When R.O. Hospitality opened “tapas and tacos” concept Casa Robles in Roswell, Chef Laura embraced her Salvadoran roots and joined that project as opening Executive Chef. She then rejoined the team at Osteria Mattone in 2024.

Laura lives locally & enjoys walks along the Chattahoochee River & her art projects.
